Last Friday, The Suds Report hinted that a west coast superstar was asked to go recurring. :-XThe identity of the actress: Soap Opera Spirit Award winner Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki, Y&R). According to multiple sources, MTS was originally asked to accept a 30-40 per cent pay cut, the norm at Y&R, but she refused. What was Y&R’s reaction? Y&R asked Scott to go on recurring status instead.
