As much as we loved seeing Raul again, were we really to believe that he and Mac had some lengthy love affair in Darfur... and nobody in Genoa City knew about it? Considering how close Mac and Kay are, we'd expect there to have been at least one phone call like, "Hey, Grandma, you'll never guess who's here--Raul!" Then again, there seems to be a remarkable lack of communication in the Chancellor household. How else to explain Chloe's belief that Mac was born with a silver sthingy in her mouth? Apparently, Esther failed to tell her daughter how Katherine met Mac--the granddaughter she'd never known existed--in a homeless shelter!
