Movie Night
When Y&R's Stacy Haiduk (Patty) wants to unwind, she enjoys renting classic movies from Netflix. "I just watched the original Scarface, which was amazing. "You forget how great the classics were, but my husband and I--and even my daughter--are old-movie buffs." Recently, the actress even began watching films that were made before the entertainment industry set up a ratings system. "The women were so wonderful," she raves. "They were tough cookies. And so sexual. I'm like, 'My God!' I was so impressed with the actresses. But somewhere along the line, Hollywood stopped writing women like that. They began to make women more sweet." One flick she's especially anxious to see is The Outlaw, which caused a scandal at the time because of Jane Russell's... er, endowments. "Howard Hughes decided to put it out in states that didn't have a ratings board, because they wanted to change his ending," shares Haiduk. "I'm excited to see that. [The legendary billionaire] really knew what audiences liked and wanted to see."
