Victoria Rowell, whose character, Drucilla Winters, has been very sorely missed by both fans and her onscreen family, has announced her real-life engagement to Atlanta artist Radcliffe Bailey! No wedding plans have been set as of this time.
Radcliffe Bailey, a New Jersey native, is an Atlanta-based artist who received a B.F.A. from Atlanta College of Art in 1991. He is a mixed-media artist whose wide range of artistic materials echoes his African-American heritage. Receiving acclaim fairly quickly, Radcliffe's career has grown exponentially, taking him to the center of the art world in New York where the renowned David Beitzel Gallery has represented him since 1995. Thousands see one of Bailey's most arresting works when they pass through Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport, the second-busiest terminal in the world, where it was hung in time for the 1996 Olympic Summer Games.
Victoria, of course, has been traveling on her book tour in support of "The Women Who Raised Me".
