During the 5/13 episode, Y&R aired scenes in which David and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) were stuck near an annoying "cat lady" on the plane en route to their wedding in Mexico. Vincent Irizarry (David) reports that life imitated art for him during a recent flight from New York to Los Angeles. "I suddenly felt something soft brush against my leg," he recalls. "I looked down and it was a cat! The woman sitting behind me had hers with her and it managed to get out. So everyone was trying to get this cat back into its carrier [laughs]. It was funny, except I'm very allergic to cats. It was basically the flight from he**--just like Nikki and David's."
