With girlfriend Colleen having been temporarily off the canvas, there hasn't been much storyline lately for Y&R's Adrian, prompting rumors that Eyal Podell wasn't long for the show. But now that Tammin Sursok (Colleen) is set to return, is more screen time ahead for Podell? A Y&R rep reminds Soaps In Depth that the show doesn't comment on casting rumors or storyline speculation, but an insider speculates that removing anyone from contract right now is unlikely since Y&R has hired a new co-headwriter, Hogan Sheffer. "The show will probably wait until Hogan gets situated and he and [headwriter] Maria [Arena Bell] work out some longterm story," says the source. "Characters that are on the bubble right now could easily find themselves frontburner in the near future."
