Lilyan Chauvin, 82, passed away in Studio City, CA, on June 26 from heart disease and breast cancer. The French-American actress played Y&R's Lil, who held Katherine and Esther captive during the memorable Marge (Jeanne Cooper's dual role) storyline from 1989-90. As an acting teacher and director, Chauvin's students included Kin Shriner (Scotty, GH; ex-Harrison, Y&R), Linda Gray (ex-Priscilla, B&B; Sue Ellen, DALLAS), and Tonja Walker (ex-Alex, OLTL; ex-Marie, GL). A memorial service will be held at the Directors Guild Of America in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 16, at 11 a.m. PST.
