Kate's HockeyFest Experience
On June 21, 2008, Kate Linder (Esther), fresh from the Daytime Emmys® celebration the night before, headed to the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri to be the honorary coach for the first annual HockeyFest All Star Game. The celebrity-studded weekend includes a host of fan friendly activities including the action packed game. Kate's Blue Jersey team were down the majority of the game, but came back to even the score at 10 - 10. Victory was attained during an overtime shootout. Celebrities and Hockey greats in attendance include supermodel Kim Alexis, Bachelorette star Trista Rehn and her husband Ryan Sutter, Growing Pains star Alan Thicke, former NHL players such as Ron Duguay, Bobby Hull, Bernie Federko, Wayne Babych and Al MacInnis.
