Y&R's Michael had a tough time tracking down his absentee father, but his portrayer, Christian Le Blanc is a different story. "I have a huge family, and genealogy is a big hobby of mine. It's a secret, nerd hobby that you can't talk about, like miniature train-collecting," laughs Le Blanc. "I've [traced] my family back to the 16th century. So it's funny that, of all things, I play someone who had no family before Gloria and Kevin showed up. It keeps Michael's character distinct from my own."
