Amelia Heinle admits that when she first auditioned for Y&R's role of Victoria, she was terrified. "Oh my God, I auditioned so many times," she recalls with a laugh. "I tested first and read for the [former] casting director, Marnie [Saitta]. She brought me back for the producers. Then I tested with Eric [Braeden, Victor] and Peter [Bergman, Jack] on the same day!" Now, after more than three years of walking in Victoria's Jimmy Choos, the actress says that she feels much more relaxed about being a recast. "I think that I've brought something to the role, but the first year, you're nervous. The second year, you begin to feel more comfortable. The third year--after the contract negotiations are done and you're still there--you feel much better," chuckles the dark-haired stunner. "They've hired you again, so it makes you feel like you've done your job!"
