Considering Heather is once again trying to take down the powerful Victor Newman, it's anyone's guess at how long she'll be an assistant D.A. (After all, last time she attacked the Mustache, she found herself booted out of the office.) However, her portrayer, Vail Bloom, hopes that Heather will be sticking around a little longer as a public servant. "I really enjoy the courtroom scenes and prosecuting cases," she smiles. "I also think that being an assistant D.A. makes more sense to who Heather is. It shows that she's not about money, because she obviously had to take a serious pay-cut. It shows that she's made of good moral fiber and establishes the strength of the character." Being in the D.A.'s office also allows viewers to watch the lovely legal eagle interact more with her father, Paul. "He gets to help her get the things that really matter most to her--catching criminals!" Bloom grins. "It's a real bonding experience for both of them, so I think the D.A.'s office defines Heather--unlike Jabot, which was totally fun!"
