Starlet Speaks Out On Recast!
Nobody was more surprised to learn that Y&R was aging the character of Abby--replacing child actress Darcy Rose Byrnes in the role--than Byrnes herself! "I will miss Y&R so much!" the 10-year-old, who played the part for five years, says in a statement. "I will never forget the fun I had with the cast and crew. I hope that I will work with them all again. Thank you, Y&R, for letting me be Blabby Abby!" Ironically, as Byrnes is being recast on Y&R, she made her debut on ABC's DIRTY SEXY MONEY last month as Kiki, taking over the role from Chloe Moretz. The young starlet can also be seen in the recurring role of Lucy on the hit CBS sitcom HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. At press time, Y&R had no news to announce regarding the recasting of Abby.
