The battle for votes over the Screen Actors Guild's deal with the studios has begun even though ballots won't go out to the union's members until next month. SAG second vice president Sam Freed sent a message on Wednesday to New York members saying that ratifying the agreement "will end the uncertainty that working without a contract has caused,".
