CBS has canceled "Without a Trace," "The Unit" and "11th Hour,". Shows with some better news include "Cold Case," "Numbers," "The New Adventures of Old Christine," "Gary Unmarried" and "Rules of Engagement," which will all return to the network next season. It would be a huge surprise if "Medium" doesn't move to CBS, as well, although NBC has official rights to the program and needs to give CBS the nod to announce it at its upfront. The cancellations are needed to replace aging and expensive dramas on the only network that grew its audience this season. Another bubble show that learned its fate is "My Name Is Earl," which won't be returning to NBC.
