Thad Luckinbill (J.T.) grew up challenging himself athletically by water-skiing (sometimes even without the skis!) and sky-diving. But marriage to co-star Amelia Heinle (Victoria) and fatherhood has tempered some of his enthusiasm to risk his neck. "I still play basketball and surf all the time," insists the hunk. "I had a friend call me, because there was this big swell that came through, and I still went out surfing. But I had another friend call me and say, 'You're a father now--you can't do this stuff anymore!' " And there are times that Luckinbill agrees, noting with a laugh, "Malibu had some really big waves, but I stayed at home!"
