Saget, Hasselhoff, Danza Dominate New A&E Line Up For 2010-[2011[/size][/b]
Big stars and popular titles dominate the 2010-2011 program schedule for A&E.
Among the titles announced today were shows with David Hasselhoff, Bob Saget and Tony Danza.
Here's a look at A&E's plans:
-- "Strange Days with Bob Saget" is an unscripted reality show with the former sitcom star, Bob Saget, traveling America in search of weird and unusual subcultures like bikers and Bigfoot believers. Six one-hour shows are scheduled and it's supposed to appear on A&E this year.
-- David Hasselhoff will headline a reality show, ten 30-minute episodes still to be named, which follows his life and his involvement in his two daughter's lives as they try to become professional singers. A&E will present the Hasselhoff project in the fourth quarter.
-- Rock star Dee Snider from Twisted Sister is the name attached to "Growing Up Twisted." It's a docu-soap about Snider, his wife and four children. There are seven 30-minute shows to air in the third quarter of this year.
-- Tony Danza will be the star of "Teach: Tony Danza" about the actor choosing to become an English teacher at Northeast High School in Philadelphia. There are seven one-hour episodes planned for premiering later this year.
-- There are five one-hour episodes of "Intervention In Depth: One Man Rehab" ordered for broadcast in the 3rd quarter of this year. The show will show how sober companions counsel at-risk addicts. Five hour-long episodes of the series have been ordered, which is set to bow third quarter this year.
