Soap Opera Style: How do you keep your workout fresh? Compiled by Gabrielle Winkel Doug Davidson (Paul, Y&R): "I don't know that I do (laughs). My favorite thing is running outside. It's almost like meditation for me. But if that's all you do, it's not balanced. You can run yourself into the ground, but you'll have no upper-body definition. The gym part is much harder for me. I prefer the treadmill or the bike and I don't lift like I used to, but you still need to work your body. You have to clear your head to do it, and that I like. Usually, I do it without music, in total silence, but if it's a tough day, I'll watch a sporting event or Fox News, CNN or C-SPAN." Christian Le Blanc (Michael, Y&R): "I change it around or I'll get bored. It was boxing. Now it's back to weights. I think yoga might be my next one. At this point, I think of it all as work. It's a part of my job as an actor. Daniel (Goddard, Cane), poor man, hasn't had his clothes on for a while, but even if it's not that, some of this stuff can be very physically challenging--like fights. When you're on shoots or on location, you've got to take care of yourself. For me, it's also about stress release. It's the only way I relax." Greg Rikaart (Kevin, Y&R): "Variety. I take a class called Dove's Body. It's strength power yoga mixed with weightlifting and some cardio. I also have a trainer and we mix it up. Then friends and I mountain bike out in Calabasas."
