Joshua Morrow Races For Kids!
Joshua Morrow (Nick) will be the first daytime star to compete a record third time for the Toyota Grand Prix Pro/Celeb Race held on Saturday, April 14, 2007 in Long Beach, California. The race will raise funds for Racing for Kids, a non-profit program benefiting children's hospitals in Long Beach and Orange County, CA.
"I love doing this race and I'm as excited as my first race," enthused Morrow, "I'd do it every year, in fact, I would race every week if they'd let me."
Toyota will donate $5000 in Morrow's name to Racing for Kids just for competing but Morrow is also aiming for the extra $5000 charity donation for winning the race and the $15,000 donation by People Magazine should he win the pole position for the qualifying race on Friday, April 13th. "Where else can you have this much fun and raise money for a great cause?" Morrow adds.
Other celebs joining Joshua in the coveted race will be George Lucas (for the second time) along with Kathryn Morris (Cold Case), actor Chris Klein, Emily Procter (CSI: Miami), actress Aisha Tyler, tennis great Martina Navratilova, sportscaster John Salley, BMX rider Dave Mirra, Hef's girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson, actress Kelly Hu and Howard Stern co-host Robin Quivers.
For fans interested in attending, Tickets can be purchased at 430 E. First St. in Long Beach, CA or by calling the toll-free ticket hotline, 888/82-SPEED or online at www.longbeachgp.com or www.ticketmaster.com.
Good Luck, Joshua! We will be rooting for you.
