The 'Criminal Minds' actor has landed himself in some pretty hot water — Paris Hilton style
As reported a couple of weeks ago, Criminal Minds actor Shemar Moore was arrested on June 1 when he was pulled over for speeding near Santa Monica Blvd., and showed signs of being under the influence. He blew 0.8: right on the line for the California limit. Moore then posted the $5,000 bail, flew to Toronto, and continued partying throughout the weekend.
A DUI investigation was conducted, and on Friday official charges were laid. Moore, otherwise known as the former Malcolm from The Young and the Restless, faces two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence. If he’s convicted, he could face up to six months in jail and a fine of $1,000.
Now the really bad news? When Moore goes to court on Tuesday, he’s facing Judge Michael T. Sauer. Can’t place the name? He’s the same judge was handed down Paris Hilton’s harsh sentence.
**UPDATE!**
Moore has pleaded no-contest to the charges, and his fancy lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, has bargained down the sentence: a $1,400 fine, 36 months probation and community service. That's hot.
