Wonder why that daytimer at the airport shied away from your recognition? Y&R's Daniel Goddard (Cane) reveals it might be more about sensitivity than snobbery. "As an actor, you hope you deliver work that makes people say, 'That was good,' but once someone said, 'You look like the BeastMaster. Are you him?' and I said, 'No,' " Goddard admits. "My wife said, 'Daniel, if somebody watches the show enough to know that and is so excited to see you, you have to realize talking to them will make their day.' It's funny, I didn't think about it that way. My 'no' came from a feeling of insecurity. Most of the time, you'll find that artists are sensitive and they're embarrassed by the attention. Now that I'm on Y&R, I get fans at bowling alleys, birthday parties and Costco. This woman came up to me with two kids and said, 'I watched you on TV today.' I wanted to ask, 'Was I bad or good?' "
