August 7, 2007 Soap Opera Weekly
1. Sunglasses are a must. I just bought a nice pair from Fendi. I decided I can buy 10 pairs that are cheap and break, or buy one pair that will last me a year.
2. A beach bag. I have a lake house, so I have several up there. You can also use big old purses you don't like anymore.
3. A few cute bikinis. You have to try them all on, because you never know. It could be, "Oh, boy, no!" on you, but look great on your best friend. That's what happens to me. We'll walk out of the room together and she'll look fabulous. I'm like, "Not even going there. I'm going to wear a one-piece!"
4. Cute sandals and flip-flops. When I wear the flip-flops, people tell me, "You look so short today." They're so used to seeing me in heels they're shocked that I'm short.
5. A new boyfriend! A summer fling is always fun.
