Whoa!
It's not easy to shock soap audiences these days, but Y&R knocked our socks off when it revealed--via an after-the-fact flashback--that Nikki was the mastermind behind Brad's decision to go to the cops with Phyllis' extortion scheme. In fact, we're pretty sure that sucking sound heard across America was viewers gasping in unison at the unexpected twist. Meanwhile, how cool is it that Phyllis was actually arrested based on her actions? Blackmail is about as common in daytime drama as illegitimate children, so it's more than a little cool that somebody--sorry Phyllis!--is finally being punished for this ubiquitous crime.
