When Tammy Lauren (Maggie) got the call to join Y&R, she admits that she knew all about Hollywood's prejudice regarding those working in daytime dramas. "I don't get it," she says, shaking her head. "People work so hard here, and yet, there is a perceived negative for working on soaps. But this experience has been the best. The people here are so professional and positive. When I first came, I didn't know what to expect, but I've been so pleased." Of course, Lauren, whose resumé includes both primetime and film credits, isn't without at least one soap connection. "I worked with Victoria Rowell (ex-Dru) on DIAGNOSIS MURDER," shares the actress. "She's fabulous to work with because she demands a lot of you. It was really fun to work with her here again, and I miss her. But other than that, Y&R is my first soap experience and it's been a great one. I'm having a fabulous time."
