No one was more surprised than Kate Linder (Esther) to hear the news that she was getting a star on Hollywood's Walk Of Fame. "I was blown away," says the actress, who learned about it while she was working at her other gig as a flight attendant during a quick trip to Portland. "I was checking my messages, and [Hollywood's late honorary mayor] Johnny Grant left one congratulating me on receiving the star. I couldn't even breathe! I just started crying. The other flight attendant, who is a huge fan of the show, was like, 'What's wrong?!' She thought somebody had died." When Linder explained the situation, the news was passed along to the captain, who announced it on the intercom during the flight. "All of the passengers just went wild," Linder chuckles at the memory. "It was really something!"
