While Vail Bloom (Heather) has begun to wear her hair down more on Y&R these days, she found that her lawyer-like look when she first joined the show was a great disguise. "I actually had people come to the set, and they'd be facing me when someone said, 'This is Vail, who plays Heather.' And they'd be surprised and say, 'Wait! I didn't recognize you, and I watch the show every day,' " she shares with a smile. "This was during the time I was wearing only business clothes and my hair was up and severe, so I looked different. They couldn't believe it. A lot of times, I'd get a reaction like, 'Wait a minute! You're the person from the courtroom?' " In fact, Bloom says her friends would get quite a kick out of it. "I was out at dinner with some friends, and there were people from Texas next to us. Suddenly, the woman was like, 'Oh my God! You're Heather from Y&R!' " chuckles the actress. "It was definitely one of those moments, since I had been sitting next to her for an hour or two!"
