From teen runaway to Navy S.E.A.L. to hedge-clipper to big business exec, Brad has a colorful past. But lately, this Renaissance man seems to be re-inventing himself again--as the villain who intentionally got David (Vincent Irizarry) hooked on gambling again. Diamont defends his character. "From Brad's point of view, Nikki has gotten herself involved with somebody who not only can bring a lot of grief into her life, but also really affects Jabot negatively," Diamont points out. "Brad felt that he couldn't confront Nikki about it because she's too close to the problem, which is David, to listen to what he had to say. Brad certainly wants to be successful at Jabot, but he has a lot of love and respect for John Abott, who gave Brad his start in business. Brad wants Jabot to continue to be a successful company to preserve John's legacy. He also has a history with Nikki and, even though they have had some issues, he cares for her. He doesn't want to see David ruin her life, as well as Jabot."
